#Snow-days
Not much sun, but not much snow next 3 days. Patchy light snow on a northerly flow today that becomes breezier Sunday. A band of snow becomes more likely off the Gulf late Monday into Tuesday.
Milder latter half of next week.

New Weather West update is out now! Some relief, at last, from recent record warmth and astonishing lack of Mountain West snow in the coming days as cooler/wetter pattern returns. But just how much relief should we expect? Read more:
After a long, dry, and very warm January, a cooler & wetter pattern will return to the U.S. West, with partial relief amid record-low mountain snowpack - Weather West
Record warm winter-to-date continues across most of the American West; already abysmal mountain snowpack dips to record low levels in many areas (except...higher elevations in southern Sierra!) Well, it sure has been a winter to remember thus far across the Western U.S. Astonishing, record-breaking warmth has pervaded nearly entire region (with few exceptions, though one

Not seeing a signal for a notable Denver rain/snow event in the next 7-10 days, but at least it'll be cooler with a chance for some light rain/snow next Thursday.

In the snow even an ordinary walk becomes a small adventure, a quiet reminder of how beautiful winter days can be.

Bizarre scenes in eastern Germany after days of mixed precipitation. A layer of black ice and frozen snow several centimeters thick is causing chaotic conditions on the roads. Images via WarnWetter-App @dwdderwetterdienst.bsky.social #Winter #Weather #Snow #Ice

Some days you run to the store in case of a big snow. Some days you're already at the store and snow runs out to get you 😄❄️🌨️

We had sunshine today, un-forecasted, which is way better than the 9 days in a row with un-forecasted snow. No complaints!

For the last few days I’ve been in Hokkaido, the region on which Sinnoh is based. There’s snow piled up everywhere, more’s on its way, and it hasn’t gotten above freezing once.

And yet I have seen at least a dozen young women walking around wearing something very similar to this outfit.

People have started tagging the piles of snow that continue to block bike lanes eleven days after the storm

Tried no alcohol for February and failed 6 days in. Reset the counter to zero

Makes sense. I suppose being able to do so depends on how many snow days you’ve got available at that point in the year.

They cancelled the delivery because there's too much snow to get down our roads lmao. 12 days after the storm. Great work, City of Philadelphia.
jk apparently they're coming tomorrow.

On 2 palettes.

That will not fit through my door.

Lmao?

I am so fucked 😅
Oh shit the pint glasses are arriving today oh my god

I'm so done with this snow, Mother Nature is just pissed off these days and I can't blame her.

Measured 5cm new snow that arrived when I did last night. There remains some patchy snow today... more likely in the east, and likely 5cm or less. Sunny breaks more likely in the west.
Pretty quiet weatherwise for the next 7 days.

My first time in a garden in over two years. I started slowly cleaning the beds four days ago.. I took a muscle relaxer that night. 😅. Slow and easy, I got some seeds in the ground today. Sugar Snap and Snow peas, Shelling peas, beets, 2 radishes, parsnip, broccoli and garlic and some kale. 😁

2/7/1978: The blizzard of '78 hits the US from the Midwest New England. A level 5 extreme blizzard with wind gusts up to 100MPH, thunder&lightning, snowfall around 4"/hr. Some places got over 4' of snow, and snow drifts of 25'. 5 days later I was born. Close call.

Snow got you down? Feeling trapped? Too many consecutive weeks with low temperatures that sound like they should be Celsius, but are, in fact, Fahrenheit? We have good news! Spring is officially less than 40 days away! This also means that it’s a great time to plan for your travel when it warms up.

A little bit of winter wonderland from our lake to start a mystical Monday and a marvellous working week everybody. We had a little snow last night after days with temperatures just around freezing point.

A much-needed major weather pattern change is finally coming for the continental U.S.! The "Warm West/Cool East" temperature dipole, which has been associated with record Western warmth and extreme Eastern cold/ice/snow, will finally fade in the coming days.
