#SEE-Diversity
Good to see a space agency actually celebrating the wonderful diversity of humanity and the ideas and perspectives they bring
Today is #LGBTQinSTEMDay 🌈

ESA proudly joins the STEM community in celebrating the unique contributions of LGBTQ+ individuals.

The Pride Flag will fly across ESA sites as a reminder of how far we’ve come, and how much more there is to do.

It would be cool to see some big VTubers work with Black VTubers in a respectful way. It would be nice to see more marginalized VTubers overall gain some visibility. I think having more diversity is great. Both in friend groups and collabs. It would be cool to see this.

Good to see the peer reviewed version of this in print

How ancient humans bred and traded the first domestic dogs
Analyses of fossils and ancient genomics reveal how early human populations bred less wolf-like companions, and might have traded them around the world.

This looks like a pretty cool set. I'll be making my own prompts (with a group of conlanging/worldbuilding YouTubers), but I love to see a diversity of approaches.
What to coin a word a day in December for Lexember? Here are 31 thematic prompts. #lexember

Reject the rational/irrational division you are putting forward. Part of why people know that the UK has a more open society (labour market and openess to diversity) is precisely what they see through our soft power.

She's absolutely gorgeous, amazing work as always <3
Black coded furries are so nice to see, I love seeing diversity in my community ^w^

This is an egregiously bad response from Mnookin. The Trump administration does not care about viewpoint diversity! They are trying to nuke the whole sector!

Onlookers and passers by cheered as the march, led by drummers, passed down Oxford’s Cowley Road, known for its vibrant diversity.

It’s fascinating to see, re. Larry Summers, the sheer diversity of grievances coming out about the man. From the economists especially who usually close ranks!

Most people at their worst are huge pieces of shit in one or two ways, max. This guy is worth a spectrum of hating

Man, that is dark. A really fascinating look though as in so many other contexts you can see this woman being the picture of right-thinking moral values - earnestly believing them, all the yard sign bromides about love/tolerance/diversity.

But then she fires off the most horrific line of thought.
I'm struck by this clip of former Obama speechwriter Sarah Hurwitz saying Holocaust education has backfired in part because people Palestinians as victims: "They think the lesson of the Holocaust is…you fight the big powerful people hurting the weak people."

I'd be super excited for this! I'd love to see you revisit rope and kinaesthetic hypnosis in particular, or for fresh material I'd be very interested in your thoughts on the variety of physical/sensory experiences of trance and what informs that diversity, or (cont.)

It is so grim to see this happening and under a Labour government. When I lived in Bristol, one of the things I appreciated most was how, in spite of the state's hostile policies, the city and the vast majority of its residents seemed to genuinely celebrate its diversity and the welcome to refugees.
Govt minister Alex Norris is asked if the govt will take jewellery from people [fleeing war and persecution]. Norris says the govt won't be taking peoples wedding rings but they will seize assets.

I didn't agree with Senator Payman's reasons for splitting with ALP at the time, however as time goes on, I clearly see how disappointed she must have been, thinking Labor was progressive & welcomed diversity.

ALP is very much captured by the Israel lobby & plethora of Zionist political players.

"Promoting a diversity of opinions" by stifling the progressive???
PS: you don't even have to be progressive to see that the professor is correct.

When you go you to another country you see the diversity of humanity but you also see how every where is really just the same. Everything is the same.

Having a fantastic time at the Alberta Municipalities convention in Calgary.

Good conversation this morning with some new & returning African/Caribbean/Black councillors from across the province.

Wonderful to see the diversity of our province being reflected in local government! #ableg

Created Finn.

Sidelined Finn.

Created Rose.

Buried Rose.

IMHO using the excuse of pandering to the Racism of the Chinese market to actually pander to the Racism of the Home market.

If you try lip-servicing diversity then it’ll come back to bite you.

(See also Lando Calrissian.)
Every time I think of how Star Wars messed up Finn's story I get mad.

I am not a person who gets mad about Star Wars.

This is an exception.

SO MUCH WASTED POTENTIAL.

Agreed!

It’s important to understand the diversity of Israeli.

Those who see Israel as “white” or only Ashkenazi should read this beautifully expressed thread.

From the perspective of understanding neuroanatomical diversity, I would like to see a subset of spirit specimens that are preserved appropriately. This might mean fixing only the head in formaldehyde and the rest of the body in ethanol.

I’d heard of projects like these before – but I couldn’t see many examples of people actually speaking to the folks who run, or use, these churches. So I did!

It’s important to understand the diversity of approaches – including the different reasons why retrofitting can matter to people.

I'm torn about it.

I hate what's not getting funded & have concerms about some of the environmental impacts, but also see the need to secure greater economic diversity & independence.

And I didn't want to see the gov fall & any chance of that fool, Poilievre, forming government, particularly now.

Looking forward to hosting Magdalena Harakalova from University Medical Center Utrecht and Maastricht University at @instcardregffm.bsky.social this Friday at 14:00. She will be talking about the diversity of cardiovascular cells in the context of cardiomyopathies. See y'all there :)
