Last night, I went to my first Zoom meetup with other bereaved Aicardi syndrome parents. It was a lot emotionally, but it definitely helped to remember there are others out there who are going through the same things. Also, it was good to reconnect with old friends.

I’m not rushing anything, but I do feel ready to begin re-engaging, catching up, and being present again in ways that feel healthy and real. I’m excited to ease back into the communities, and reconnect with familiar faces along the way.
