They probably do have higher trust in scientific authority, however their exposure to purported "scientific authorities" primarily involves quacks & charlatans on social media. How much do they really learn spending 4 minutes with a doctor every other year.

It’s grotesque because I imagine the “tapering off” feels like a palatable compromise to the uneducated observer who views transition as a luxury, but of course an MD issuing this sort of guidance knows the way the body’s hormone production begins to atrophy when an exogenous source is introduced

Not happy with the waste of my/our money but at this point, the gross misappropriation of my/our money is pretty far down on the list of crimes being perpetrated by this cabal.

There were few question that came from people defending Treacles and here I will explain more why for me personally there is no shadow of a doubt they are using AI, plus will explain few others misconceptions for better clarity since my poor English skills doesn't work to my advantage!
Who are you and what's your experitise? TecMysT/Adam, I'm hobbyist artist that from 2015 started posting on Deviantart, across decade I dabble with art on and off since than, I'm not really social media person as some of you might notice considering my activity over a decade, but I'm someone who's dealing with generative AI visuals for quite some time now by finding them inside submissions on Newgrounds on daily basis. (portal that have some anti AI stances although not very severe in some cases but I'll get back to that later). On BlueSky before that case I found 2 other ppl using AI, I did informed few mootuals (some pro artist included, on their defense, in haste) who reposted some, after checking socials they came to same conclusions. I didn't spread any accusations publicly since they were small accounts and I'm far from being vindictive. After a while it came to my attention that one of those accounts publicly admitted they were buying 3rd party linework that were generated by AI of which they didn't know. But Corey didn't confirmed it's AI!? Nor they denied it! First time I reached them middle of November, after a month tried again and they answered, after I presented the problem, they check and next day gave the answer you already know, while mentioning also they can't find at that moment any conclusive proofs. After that another month past since I had to deal with my computer repairs 1st. In January I tried to reach them again but without luck (now I know Bsky might hide my msgs), so I tried again and only 2 days ago finally Corey answered and allow me to use that quotation. That's it, that was Corey's entire contribution in that case. So of course they would put statement that protects their good name since they don’t even know me that well. They are good 'people' and even now they extend a helping hand toward Treacles, I am not that forgiving when it comes to the knowledge I have gained over the past few weeks about exploited clients. Do they have more expertise in art than me? Hell for sure they do! Are they more skilled to find out AI slop than me? I really can't answer that, since I have no idea how many AI accounts they discover over last few years. But I can tell you how much I have (data only from ~3 months since before I didn't bother with keeping journal): I flagged submissions from 113 accounts (sometimes multiple entries) stating reason of being AI generated, all were DELETED (few BLAMED by community for being super obvious) only in 6 cases allegation were dismissed, because they didn't feel enough AI was used in them. (for movie/game to be deleted majority must be genAI, check site guidliens for that) The efficiency is 94,7%, it’s worth mentioning that when you flag something wrong you get more negative points that will affect your whistle status, so if you go on flaging rampage you just get garbage whistle that doesn't alram mods. At some point I will share those accounts that I feel are unredeemable or vacant for H-K role on Discord for insight. Won't make it public since I stumble on account that actually took time and fix their game, changing AI images for human art despite alpha version was deleted because of genAI. Can also send evidence right away to Corey if needed and if they agree since it seem they are most qualified to be arbiter, that way they could confirm my truthfulness. But I really would like to stop bothering them (; No way they use AI, they walk me through sketch phase, AI can't do all those changes, etc. Before I’ve discovered in 2023, from Rahll’s movie about Shadiversity [A Criticism of Shadiversity's "AI Love Letter" on YouTube, I highly recommend watching it in full] and their use of LoRA’s, I also would think that’s impossible! Unfortunately there are professional artist out there that use it with their knowledge and could pass for something man made if not for the still preserved AI ‘asthetics’. The best evidence for that could be my previous case that started really innocent when I stumble upon something uniquely strange that I couldn’t put my finger on and to my surprise of course AI overpaint was involved. Case ended with deletion of ~130 submissions (including not 'AI assisted') many with awards, even as far as from 2019 (case is in discord archives open to public). Back to allegations at hand, creating sketches based on already generated image is very easy especially if you trace it. To make changes in those programs is also just a prompt away (Rahll’s movie shows that every element can be manipulated separately). Some ppl will block me other may follow for completely wrong reasons. I'm person that avoids drama as much as possible, I just want to share some of my silly works for others to enjoy and also feast my eyes and complement other’s art, after that move back to my project. And by revealing those evidence I knew this kind of chaos will arise. But looking at obvious copies of AI images that float around I just couldn’t leave it like that. If there’s one thing that you should know about me is that I’m very much ‘justice driven’ since forever, the world is showing to be such a shittshow „lately” and scamming others doesn't make it any better. Now the proofs might seem not definitive on each own but those all together gives you a good picture with what we are dealing here, or in other words my answer to someone who blocked me despite presenting themselves as impartial person: „I appreciate the sentiment you're showing toward, but if it looks like a duck (impossible anatomy), walks like a duck (weird details) and quacks like a duck (AI lighting), then it just may be a duck. Each of those alone might not be problem but all at once they don't give much room for maneuver.” One more thing I believe that should be pointed out. Namely the influence of images, news and everything that you consume as ‘content’. For many months now you’ve been feed by spoon of redrawn AI slop without letting your brain know that genAI part in advance. So you just used to it and your brain sees it as something real and valuable. Now something horrendous happening that shows evidence that all that time you were just consuming AI slop, you even paid for it, looked at real speedpaints, check sketches… It’s a very natural thing for your brain to go in defense mode and reject everything that is not according to the ‘true’ you've been surrounded for so long. (similar to what can we find in politics) Do you remember those headlines „MIT study suggests that too much AI use could increase cognitive decline” there could be something along those line that apply to AI imagery. You just slowly loosing the way to tell apart what's generated and what’s not it just become normalized. Finishing thoughts Maybe after a while some people take a step back and look at those evidence again, distanced themselves from emotions, concentrate on logic and ask how is it possible to churr out tens of fully rendered images per month? With alternate versions, sometimes with few characters, all made in different environments, objects setups, types of backgrounds, speedpaints and still having full time job on shifts. This alone should rise both brows. I’m slow it takes me around 2 weeks to finish original piece, geathering references, ideas, puting all together etc. But when I just need to copy suddenly I’m drawing 1 piece/day, curious (last summer ~50 studies in 10 weeks) How about you?
