I'm planning for longer term than that, bud. I'm also expecting that people who are willing to abolish ICE long term are more willing to defund it and shut down the government to prevent its continued operation in the short term than are people who think ICE is neat, actually, and want to keep it.

Sure, can't wait to have another "majority" that includes the 2026 versions of Manchin, Sinema, Collins, etc., who will either prevent us from doing what needs to be done or just straight up vote with Republicans.
