We went to Blue Springs State Park last week! It's a quiet boardwalk through the woods along the spring, so peaceful. In the winter kayaks and swimmers aren't allowed in since the manatees are there keeping warm. 1 and 2: mama and baby. 3. The calm stream.

The Great Basin is a large area of Utah and Nevada that was under water 500 million years ago. Life was experimenting and there's lots of strange creatures found here.

We're in a time of radicalization or purity from all sides. I will never be pure enough for this, because i love people and have to believe in their ultimate heart. It's why the ghosts visited Scrooge. It's how Grinch's heart grew 3 sizes. Please don't weaponize empathy against people who care. ✌️

Batrachichnus is from the Carboniferous Mansfield Formation of southern Indiana. This is the name of the trace fossil because it's unknown exactly what animal produced it. The print is ~2cm long.

Just had mash potatoes to use up the last potatoes, before starting an elimination diet for nightshade vegetables tomorrow. As much as I love and live off potatoes, it will be worth not eating them if it turns out they and other nightshades are making me sicker!
