Helping nature lovers bring the joy and wonders of the earth into their home environments through richly textured artworks.
Pinned
In a world that asks us to move faster, I create art inviting us to slow down. My work is rooted in nature, hope & healing, meant to bring calm, connection & quiet joy into your home. If you believe beauty matters, if nature feels like home, if you’re craving a little more peace in your life…
Winter feels like the right season for this kind of growth.

“Now is the accepted time to make your regular annual good resolutions. Next week you can begin paving hell with them as usual.”

What if your wall could bloom into a tiny garden, one jewel at a time?
From my succulent botanical series, each 6×6” piece stands beautifully on its own, together they create a lush, layered story. Textured collage, succulents & butterflies, quiet geometry, nature’s balance, captured in miniature.

This is what hope looks like: tiny poppy seedlings, growing in our neighborhood park. I planted these seeds a while ago, seeing them now fills me with so much joy & anticipation for spring. Stay close to small beginnings & let yourself imagine what’s coming.

Interesting insight into the MAGA mindset and a hopeful direction: “After Charlie died, I realized that I’m part of this toxic culture. I really started looking at my faith. I wanted to be more like Christ.”

Sometimes wisdom whispers instead of shouts.

“House of Wisdom” invites you to pause, where nature meets the surreal, a cardinal rests beneath a twinkling star, offering a quiet reminder: “You would be wise not to seek too much from others, at this time.”

If you’ve ever wondered whether art like this is really worth it… it’s not about filling a wall.

It’s about how you feel when you pass by it every day.

Art can hold meaning, invite calm & quietly remind us of what matters most.

Let the image breathe… if it speaks to you, spend some time with it.

We recently worked on a poor quality puzzle that was frustrating and not rewarding at all - it’s in the donation pile now.

The ones in this article are out of my price range, but an Etsy search for hand cut puzzles has piqued my curiosity…

A nest is more than a home, it’s a promise.

“Eager Longing” holds the quiet ache of waiting: a carefully gathered nest, a single striped feather, and the hope of what’s not yet here. It’s a meditation on shelter, preparation, and trust. Even in stillness, longing hums with beauty.

I spent over twenty-two minutes just looking at this piece; it is as fascinating as ever. If you’ve ever wanted to get a better look at the “Garden of Earthly Delights,” this is a great way to see it in great detail & learn more about it as well.

As ever, I find it inspiring.

“Every scene, even the commonest, is wonderful, if only one can detach oneself, casting off all memory of use and custom, and behold it (as it were) for the first time.”

WANT TO KEEP "CHRIST" IN CHRISTMAS?
FEED THE HUNGRY, COMFORT THE AFFLICTED, LOVE THE OUTCAST, FORGIVE THE WRONGDOER, INSPIRE THE HOPELESS.

As the year slows & the light softens, wishing you peace, love, hope & joy this Christmas & in the days beyond. I’m stepping back to be fully present with the people I love & I hope you’re able to unplug as well, if only for a moment, & experience rest, hope & healing in your own way.

Ever wondered what it would feel like to have wings?

“Wings of the Wind” (16x12” mixed media) lives in that space, where earthbound creatures imagine the sky & transformation feels possible. A lizard, grounded & ancient, grows feathered wings & reminds us that we’re not as limited as we think.

Earlier this week, Senator Mike Lee introduced an amendment that would have removed protections against selling America’s national parks. Of course, you absolutely REFUSED. And it's working. 💪 (1/4)

Even when it feels dark, the Light is still at work.

I’ve been reflecting on the winter solstice, the slow return of light, and how faith and art meet in seasons of waiting. I’ll be sharing more of that in an email and blog tomorrow.

What if a tree could hold prayers & miracles? “New Mercies” began as a living, breathing prayer, layered with handwritten requests, 40 days of prayer & fasting, a bare tree that slowly transformed. As prayers were answered, leaves were added, each a testimony of hope, healing & God’s faithfulness.

Winter sucks.

I’d love to hibernate like a bear and wake up in April.
