Attacking a federal district judge as an “activist” for issuing a lawful ruling is an assault on judicial independence. A democracy cannot function when executive agencies denigrate judges for doing their jobs.

The Oklahoma Pardon and Parole Board believes that Tremane Wood shouldn't be put to death, yet the state is planning to execute him tomorrow for a murder he didn't commit.

Governor Kevin Stitt must act now and stop his execution.

The Epstein story gets a something that is tearing at the heart of the electorate: elite impunity. The idea that wealthy and powerful people can do terrible things *at scale* and face no consequences for them. Whatever political party actually stops it could rule the country for a generation.

GOP proposes that any US Sen.r (& ONLY Sen.) whose phone records are lawfully subpoenaed be paid $500K PLUS an extra $500K if the DOJ seeks a lawful Nondisclosure Order. That’s $1 million “compensation” to any US Sen. for lawful activities conducted as part of an investigation. RETROACTIVE to 2022!
Raskin: If this were to pass, this astounding provision would give eight Republican senators a personal payday of at least a million dollars each, paid for by the U.S. Taxpayers at a time when we are throwing millions of people off of their health care…

Trump has a habit of acting on the suggestion of the last person who presented an idea to him. Stephen Colbert is begging someone to slip into the White House and put this in front of Ramble Stilskin.

caved:
Catherine Cortez Masto/NV
*Dick Durbin/IL
John Fetterman/PA
Maggie Hassan/NH
Jeanne Shaheen/NH
Tim Kaine/VA
*Angus King/ME
