As Lawrence O'Donnell pointed out last evening, the DOJ's indictment against Maduro doesn't list any actual drug crimes. This prosecution is likely to flame out. Maybe the DOJ should assign the case to Lindsay Halligan so they can blame her when they lose.

I do not agree with the statement that we aren't seeing mass mobilization in the US against Trump's actions in Venezuela.
There is mass mobilization in every city where ICE and CBP are operating. Do not confuse mobilization with marching and protests. Not everything is designed for spectacle.

Interesting hypothesis from Lawrence O'Donnell about why the U.S. is laying claim to Venezuela's oil: Venezuela supplies oil to Cuba. If the U.S. is able to withhold Venezuelan oil from Cuba, Cuba will collapse, and the U.S. can "liberate it." Rubio would be a hero.
