We stand in solidarity with @mnaflcio.org and all workers in Minnesota peacefully opposing the federal government’s militarized immigration enforcement. We honor the courage of those speaking up for human dignity and demand that ICE leave Minnesota.
Apparently the Department of Labor thought government janitors and cafeteria workers should earn less than a job at Walmart.

If the Department of Labor is lowering the wages for these workers, who else do they think is being paid too much money?

In this economy!?

The Labor Department set the minimum wage for some federal contractors to $13.65 per hour, after President Donald Trump canceled a Biden-era executive order that had set it at $15 per hour.

Working people are tired of struggling in an economy that doesn’t work for them. This weekend at the Young Worker March on Washington, they came together in the freezing cold to fight for a more secure future for them and all working people.

They are so bad at creating jobs that the new spin is… new jobs are bad? Fewer workers is good? This is the economy that helps Americans?
Hassett: "There's a chance that job creation lags, productivity skyrockets, profits skyrocket, GDP skyrockets, but then all of the sudden you're making 20 widgets and you can make 20 widgets with fewer persons, and then that person has to find a new job. I think that kind of transition could happen"

You know the administration’s economic policies are working when they’re being compared to 2009. You know, the Great Recession.

Call it the Trump effect. https://www.cnbc.com/2026/02/05/layoff-and-hiring-announcements-hit-their-worst-january-levels-since-2009-challenger-says.html
Layoffs in January were the highest to start a year since 2009, Challenger says
With the recent narrative centering on a no-hire, no-fire labor market, the data suggests that the layoff part of the equation could be stepping up.

After the Trump admin and their DOGE/Project 2025 agenda made cuts to the IRS, the agency is unprepared for tax season.

The IRS is being forced to have staff with no tax experience jump in and help. That’s not efficient or helpful to working people.
