Will the occupants of NYC public housing be able to afford the special cookware needed for induction stoves?

Best revenge: Megyn Kelly loses her show to a 15-year-old.
November 13, 2025 at 10:41 PM
Megyn would sell out her own daughter to advance or save her career.

Also for Megyn: The only difference between an 8-year-old and a 15-year-old in your example is that one is a little girl, and the other is an older girl. But they're both girls...juveniles.

I'm astonished at how many people are ready to abandon basic precepts of US jurisprudence to get the outcome they want. Advocating conviction based on innuendo and implication is the kind of shit the GOP does. Exhibit A: the Pam Bondi DOJ.

Basic legal principle that everyone should know. US justice system does not accept "guilt by association." And mentioning someone in emails is also not guilt by association--although it's a damn good lead for further investigation in the search for proof that will stand up in a court of law.

I agree. But being friends with or socializing with a criminal does not make you a criminal, although it will draw attention to you and likely lead to some degree of investigation.

THIS is the way to talk about what we know at this point. So many people are posting declarations that Trump absolutely, positively did X/Y/Z -- when all we have so far is a lot of circumstantial evidence. We need to examine the complete trove of documentation to determine what's what.

Caught...but never punished or given consequences.

Also, each mail-in paper ballot has (or should have) a code you can scan to later look up online if it has been received and processed.
November 13, 2025 at 9:11 PM
That's not entirely worry-free, either. Louis DeJoy (Republican Postmaster General) set about destroying mail processing machines and putting up all kinds of hurdles to mail-in voting prior to the 2020 election when he was in office.

This is the kind of things Dems traditionally let slip through their fingers, and then they are stunned when they lose.

Pet peeve: when a post has enough room to spell out/define an acronym but doesn't.

Paywall!

The real surprise would be if there HAD been supporting evidence to justify detainment and an arrest. I just assume the default situation is going to be a false narrative under Trump's Homeland Security and DOJ.

We must have different definitions of "elite." It transcends wealth
November 13, 2025 at 8:18 PM
The emails were released the same day--hours prior to Grijalva being sworn in. The writing was already on the wall, so Republicans probably wanted to project the image of being pro-active on the issue (hahaha) instead of being backed into a corner by the 218 votes.
November 13, 2025 at 7:56 PM
Correction: Trump has desperately been trying to portray himself as, and then become, part of the elite since the 80s. New Yorkers scorned and rejected him. That's why he re-located to FL, where tacky is just another type of style.
November 13, 2025 at 7:52 PM
Trump will never quit. The only thing that has gotten him this far in life is stubborn persistence. (Undergirded with bullying and cheating, of course...)
November 13, 2025 at 7:48 PM
Worse than that. He adopted someone else's coat of arms and claimed it as his own.
