beside that Trump is evil, it’s important to remember he is also (a) stupid, (b) in neurological decline, and (c) mentally stuck in 1979 (see (b))

💔 💔 💔 I’ve been bitten by my dog, too. She’s blind in one eye and largely blind in the other. She’s also has neurological issues. They have their reasons.

What? No NICU in your state? Your NICU is closing due to Medicaid cuts? Well, a vaccine is still available, but a couple jabs to keep your baby healthy just isn’t very exciting.

Did we mention that if your baby catches it there is also a strong change of neurological complications? What fun!

We have thousands of studies now showing the harms from COVID infections and these are not mild. Many scientists on here discussing this. Many with long covid, even children with neurological damage. The press is nowhere on this. Seemingly mild infections do not necessarily equate to benign. 🧵

A cognitive assessment has nothing to do with intelligence and everything to do with neurological functioning. My god. This does it for me today.

As many people discovered watching Black Panther and Rise of Skywalker, you can have lived a basically asymptomatic life before strobing lights triggers a seizure or other adverse neurological events. You can't "know" who is going to have a neurological event unless they start having it.

It is very lucrative to be a leftist focused on the working class who has a sudden realization that the real problem is Woke DEI, Republicans will greet you with open arms and checkbooks and attributing Fetterman's switch entirely to his neurological issues ignores that, to our peril

I checked the stats once out of morbid curiosity and read that there's *technically* a chance, but it's so tiny it involves a lot of 0s before the decimal point, and even of the people who survived, it did so much neurological damage that several died later anyway. Absolutely brutal disease.

I give those only if a neurological deficiency or trauma is suspected. Not to see how "smart" someone is. JFC.

people may not be aware of this but hiccups that persist for a really long time can be a sign of a lot of very serious neurological conditions

also consider that if you can only kinda be in prison or hospital, going to hospital must be really exciting so he probably does it for fun

People are given REPEATED cognitive assessments when they are diagnosed with—or being evaluated for—progressive neurological conditions like dementias or the cognitive impact of other illnesses.

The repetition is meant to create a baseline and then assess ongoing performance against that baseline.

Last Christmas, my child was in a residential treatment facility for a little-known neurological eating disorder called ARFID, so we missed @allelitewrestling.com's Christmas show at the Hammerstein Ballroom. This Christmas they're healthy, so we went. I wrote about all this for @defector.com.
