Moana of Motunui is autistic and uses scripting as often as she can (practicing what she will say to Maui, repeating lines from songs, etc.). Her father, Chief Tui, is the same ("It suits you" and the repeated warnings not to go beyond the reef). Moans is her father's daughter, after all

I mean, that's exactly what MANDALORIAN & GROGU is.
They decided to take what was supposed to be Season 4 and trim the fat to package it as a theatrical film to make them money.

I tried watching Moana a bunch of times because all my friends love it, but I just can't vibe with it after the second act. Maui is such an obnoxious character that he utterly destroys the tone the first act spent building. It took me a while to accept that I just don't like it.

Tala除了女主唱“ I am Moana”那段的关键指点之外，还有另外一个神助攻，女主准备偷船出去冒险的时候，Tala正好去世，全村人都在送老人走，结果女主偷船出海极其顺利。和孝道观念要求子女奔回去守着老人不一样，tala反而是魂魄化为大鱼，追上女主的船，送女主启程。
但是tala也没有为了女主做多大的牺牲，她本来就向往大海，是村里人不理解的“天天对着大海跳舞的疯女人”，女主能继承她的理想她就顺手推一下，提供关键支撑。女主的爸爸也就是她儿子少年冒险受挫以致最终害怕大海，她也没嫌弃或者碎念儿子
感觉这算是当家长的最高境界了🫠
