Weird. I don't think about Lantau for years & years and then it pops up twice in one day! The Causeway wasn't there when I was "working" (cough) in HK in '80 but I did go there courtesy of the RAF in a Wessex helicopter once. Oddly for the RAF they also came back for me! (Sorry @daf66.bsky.social!)

I tell this story from time to time but don't necessarily post pictures of how beautiful this temple is (with a bonus side of thigh meat display at Lantau Island). I didn't see any "no photos" at this particular temple but some of the ones on Lantau that I went to because I watched vlogs on YT did.
