Congratulations @stonefishweirs.bsky.social your answer is correct: Mbaraki Pillar, Mombasa. A 13th–15th c. Swahili pillar tomb in Mbaraki, built of coral rag and lime mortar. About 9–10 m tall, solid and cylindrical, it marked an elite grave and symbolised authority in Swahili coastal society.

Congratulations @stonefishweirs.bsky.social your answer is correct. The Mut Temple at Jebel Barkal in Sudan is a significant Nubian archaeological site, partly carved into the rock at the foot of the sacred mountain. Built by Pharaoh Taharqa around 680 BCE, it was dedicated to the goddess Mut.

Coming up for a nose around, some tawny nurse sharks Nebrius ferrugineus in the #VaavuAtoll, #Maldives. Tawny nurse sharks are primarily bottom-feeding. However, a tentative observation indicates that the species has come to associate humans with feeding events #ecology #sharks #tcdtceh

Prehistoric rock (5000–4000 BC) carving of fishing boat and fishier peoples at Altafjord is a fjord in Alta Municipality in Finnmark county, Norway. The large feature at the end of the line may possibly be an anchor or a fish like a halibut on the line.

A lagoon triggerfish patrols there patch closely. The specie (Rhinecanthus aculeatus), called the Picasso triggerfish, or the Picassofish. Both sexes guard territories sometimes for years and are known to bite unwelcome visitors.
