A little while ago, @greensleeves.bsky.social & @stuartscarisbrick.bsky.social, I saw from a bedroom window a swirling crowd of agitated birds mostly crows & wood pigeons. And then I saw what was bothering them. Big Billy Buzzard was soaring about. Murphy's Law after what I said yesterday?

Back to normal tomorrow then after today's glorious sunshine!! "A warning for rain covering south-east England has been issued by the Met Office. A yellow weather warning affecting Kent, Surrey, East Sussex and West Sussex begins at 06:00 GMT on Wednesday and runs until 08:00 on Thursday." (BBC)

This grainy snap was taken at sunset in 1980 in the Mai Po Marsh in Hong Kong. The start of a 12 hr patrol/stag with my mate Bob. The handle of my prized Kukri I'd been gifted by a Gurkha lad can be seen on my butt. Sadly & to my shame it is long lost. The ghostly vision bottom right is Bob!!🐕🦺

People are talking about Wednesday night and potential snow risk in south. I am refraining from saying anything. There is still not agreement with shape and track of low, conditions are marginal as always, although less than other night. Most likely it will be a hill snow event.

I'm bloody sick of this ruddy nonsense that 'pensioners vote for Reform'. I'm sure SOME will. But overwhelmingly it's actually those within the lower age ranges - particularly men, with low intelligence and no prospects.

You might have seen my past bleetings about going to Moorfields Eye Hospital. I just found this which explains why I have a jab in the left peeper every 2 months. Only read if you are at all interested.
