So we had 3 different types/colours of small radishes that the Boss thinly sliced & pickled in white wine vinegar for a few hours. The liquid turned pink which surprised us. Served the slices on top of cold poached salmon as a starter for mates. It worked really well.

Friends! They wanted to go to an intimate little gig last September but we couldn't make it so they didn't go. Same artist advised last Friday that she's doing a gig at the same venue (80 tix only) next February. Emailed said friends asking if they are up for it. Nada, tumbleweed, silencio. Pah!!
