My family avoids the USA for our safety. We'd be easy targets for ICE because we look Latino. Or because I do research about Two-Spirit & LGBTQQIA+ issues. Or simply because we don't align with policies there, and it'd be difficult to keep silent about abuses. So, we go to Europe & Central America.

Like saying “So-and-so is a gay” or “a bi” or “a trans” or “a queer” is weird and probably offensive

Nope. I’ve never met someone heterosexual. They don’t exist. Some people are bi and some are gay and some are asexual but heterosexual??? No that’s a new one. It’s LGBTQQIA+ no H there at all. Maybe it’s a silent H for a reason?

I am rarely proud of my hometown but this is great! Unfortunately Delco just shut down most of its hospitals, but it’s progress!
