It’s really telling how back in 2016, JonTron was pro-gamergate and also promoted white genocide conspiracy theories alongside people like Sargon and Richard Spencer and somehow he hardly faced any real consequences for his actions.

But I'm not surprised they made a joke like this. Me and my brother were actually making bets on when they'd have some other problematic creator (if they'll have Doug Walker, then Jirard "The Completionist", JonTron or Ethan Klein/H3H3 aren't off the table).

This is such a funny line of thought because I've dropped JonTron the second he started acting reckless and I have seven mid books about a British kid who was low-key okay with slavery rotting in storage because their author made it her life mission to ruin her legacy over three trans kids
"What if one of YOUR favorite politicians/celebrities/etc is on the list?" Did you all not notice how quickly we dropped Neil Gaiman when we found out about the things he did?
