Even with the vndbs admins being very anal and inconsistent about what they consider a "Visual Novel" to be, VNDB is still the best resource for the medium in english.
A competitor should approach it as a database instead of being a platform like Letterboxd or Backlogged.

Fangan projects are so funny man. They always market themselves as being more woke than Danganronpa, then the writer makes a mistake (The gay character is slightly too annoying and gets in the way of the yuri) so everyone rips them apart like a pack of wolves.
