New Dispatch is about Mitch McConnell's effort to murder the hemp industry in Appalachia. Adding the hyperlinks and pictures now, but it'll be up soon.

You can't make hyperlinks in a YouTube description actually clickable unless you give them your ID lmaoooo what dogshit

this reminds me of when I worked with a grown adult full professor at a university who would send me stuff copied from wikipedia with hyperlinks. I imagine he's thriving in this new era of being a big lazy swine
I'm getting replies from AI fans who think LLMs are useful. Okay. Whatever. I'm not expressing shock at people using LLMs, only in using them so lazily that they don't even glance at the outputs before copy and pasting them. Reminds me of plagiarized student papers w/ Wikipedia hyperlinks in them.

I like how there are hyperlinks to other specific topics that parents might not be well-versed in and can learn more about. @beh353.bsky.social #beh353

From my experience, going - it feels that hyperlinks between services are crashing or not working and that is also affecting some internal links as well

OK, HT upgrade is $200 (ick) and since I'm only able to get to it via hyperlinks, not sure yet if MK4 and XL compatible. But the one "for" C1 says it's not.

Thank you. I saw and read the first link and didn’t see them. Read second link later with the hyperlinks. Found the first number. Didn’t see the second one.

''[...]more than a third of all webpages that existed just a decade previous were inaccessible. And one in five government webpages had at least one broken link. In [.]2021 [...]researchers found that a quarter of the two million hyperlinks in the digital version of the New York Times were broken.''

We as a society need to figure out how to use QR codes vs hyperlinks. We've got to stop making people retype long-ass URLs now that we have the technology, AND we've got to stop texting people QR codes or posting them on social media. A QR code on your phone screen is useless!

Da scheint sich Google der Problematik bei Gemini bewusst zu sein, da sind Hyperlinks immer ausgeblendet, auch wenn ich explizit danach fragte.

No matter how many times @mattdpearce.com says hyperlinks are dead, it blows my mind how often people replying to my posts (especially on X) clearly don’t comprehend the idea that there may be information available beyond the words in my post. Even when I refer explicitly to the link!

And no matter how much a story is “public knowledge” if I can’t cross check it with my own research, I’m not talking about it.

I wish other people would do the same, maybe then AP would learn that hyperlinks can be to more than just their own articles.

I understand your point. But it’s like hitting the space bar twice after a period, capitalizing non-proper nouns or underlining things that aren’t hyperlinks to draw attention to them, as if you’re on a typewriter. It makes the writer look fusty and behind the times.

Still, no real harm done.

I’m going through it now and making a list of all the people/places/institutions they’re name-checking to prove they have receipts—sometimes with hyperlinks—as they remind us that THEY at least disciplined their guy who took an Epstein donation…

It’s very slick, very clever—too clever by half

What would probably increase the quality of #llm responses is if they add hyperlinks to high quality sources from real #websites. As in, not just mashed up footnotes, but actual words/phrases/sentences within their responses linked to real people/orgs websites. Obviously they should be correct […]

The fact that I can't add hyperlinks when I speak IRL has been a serious impediment to my adult social life tbh
