The convos around the tech are definitely not good. Aside from Atproto and ActivityPub, most DecInfra got thrown in the same box as crytpo, so a lot of the engineers are defensive as hell about it after being called frogcoin a hundred times. :D But agreed.

social media has made the community aspects of fraud so much easier. you don't have to be, like, fellow Mormons or Rotary Club members, just in the same subreddit as part of the frogcoin gang
