Memories of sunsets past. When I think of the number of photos I’ve taken of this river valley...

The sky was absolutely stunning this morning.

The photos don’t do the colours justice but there were pastel pink, green and blue colours.

Trust me, it was much more vivid and beautiful than shown here!

I’ve never seen a sky like this before!

🌱 This garden is my happy place, most diverse and beautiful designed public perennial garden in our city imo. I’m devastated to hear they might have to close because of discontinued funding, here’s some of my photos bsky.app/profile/alex...

I had a dream last night that the sky had this weird combination of heavy, dark clouds on one side and multiple rainbows filling the rest, and everybody was coming out to watch and take photos.

I’ve always admired the fact that my subconscious does not fuck around with obscure symbolism.

Beach and landscape, framed in driftwood. Notes say this was near Vancouver, or possibly on Vancouver Island, 20+ years ago, and long before I had a decent camera or any idea how to take photos.

Fixed my slow migration by getting Lightroom desktop & moved all 800 photos, separated the whopping 50 (ok 51 total) I feel are worthy of editing into a new folder.

Let's do the thing. #photography #blackandwhite #digitalphotography #blackandwhitephotos #photos #landscapephotos #noai

Never you mind how Terra outgrew The World That Never Was because you never can tell when he’s going to grow again! After all, he’ll never stop growing bigger and stronger.

One photo per day from my archive. Completely random in subject, time, location. Photos that make me happy. And hopefully you too 😊

felt that I'd been so long without the sun that I stopped the car to record its presence in my life

this is the wettest year ever and the gloom is so draining

was good to see my shadow today

After two days of nonstop rain, wind, & darkness, yesterday afternoon I ventured out for a short walk. I didn't feel like it. It wasn't inviting. But it was good.

Even grim grey & cloudy twilight look better outside.

It’s #NationalSnowdropDay! Snowdrops, also known by the botanical name Galanthus, are one of the first plants to flower in the new year.

‘Drifts’ of snowdrops make for spectacular photos. Like this display at The Weir Garden, Herefordshire.
