I've let my kids cycle unaccompanied from Bramcote into the city since they were ?11/12 because of the segregated route pretty much all the way (albeit of very varied quality). Few parents in WB or LB would do the same. Soon they can knowing their kids will be safe.

As someone who used to live next to the Broxtowe border - the wall would presumably run through that derelict golf course up from Bramcote Lane shops - it really doesn't make sense to have boundaries that treat that bit and Beeston as Not Nottingham.
