Looking back on 2025, I can say that it was fantastic for fungi - excluding those I have been unable to confidently identify, I saw a total of 191 distinct species, of which 15 were new to me. I'm going to aim to hit a higher figure for both in 2026.

I believe it to be a species of Geopora. I've seen the incredibly similar Cedar Cup (Geopora sumneriana) before, but the habitat - open grassland with no trees nearby - I think rules out that species as an ID.
