The second ammunition type is conventional HEI-T high-explosive incendiary ammunition designed for bringing down typical air defence targets, e.g., aircraft and guided missiles.

Right now, they are getting APDS-T, while HEI-T follows in late 2024.

I've seen an email from Catlin today that lists him as ops manager. So he manages the managers for all their stations on top of being the pd there.

Sean is one of the APDs. A 2 hour show is 2 hours prep, meaning he has half a day for MGMT stuff. 3 hours makes that 2. Time allocation issue

Frankly, the 108mm AT gun is *overkill* for 98% of targets it may see, with even things like the 75mm with its APDS shells being quite effective into Year 43 and 44.

It is likely heavier armored vehicles will determine the next types of guns to be 90-110mm.

I doubt it, the only "normal-shell-shaped" ammo for the Leo 1 afaik is the HESH shell, and that has a more rounded tip, and I doubt the training round would be shaped different.
Four cartridges of ammunition for the 105 mm gun of the Leopard 1. From left to right there are an APDS shell, with a short conical tip poking out of the blunt-faced sabot, two HEAT shells, with a longer cylindrical section and a much narrower cylindrical spike in front. One of them is sectioned, showing the copper cone of the shaped charge and how the fins at the back of the shell protrude into the propellant case, and a HESH shell. This one is shaped like a normal shell, but with a fairly blunt tip.
