Snapchat's longevity is absolutely fascinating to me, I never thought that was going to happen
Teens turn to a variety of online platforms, but YouTube continues to stand out. Roughly nine-in-ten teens report ever using it. TikTok, Instagram and Snapchat are the next most widely used platforms.

In this late Qing tapestry "Celebrating Longevity", two elders sit in a grand hall, honored by family on their birthday. Kneeling boys offer a scroll bearing a blue “shou” for longevity, encircled by five red “fu” bats, symbols of fortune. 1/2

Seeing this floating around, and want to say this directly:

Tomorrow's fire conditions are NOT comparable with Marshall Fire (12/30/21). Wind speeds, longevity, soil moisture, RH: not the same.

We should be vigilant tomorrow. But stop with the Marshall Fire comparisons.

7. I would have explained that even while birth rates are falling very fast, there’s a lag caused by a larger current base population, due to the birthrate 60-100 years ago, plus increasing longevity. Hence a residual rise before the plunge. www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...
The facts are stark: Europe must open the door to migrants, or face its own extinction | George Monbiot
These are the facts: plummeting birth rates mean that without attracting immigration, many countries are sliding towards collapse, says Guardian columnist George Monbiot

I believe n individual artists and supervisors like this. The ones that want to make good things and treat people well. Big companies themselves are often corrupt and don’t care about the quality or longevity of the company… but you can still find people who have this attitude and are the real gems.

Rob Reiner was in the public eye for 54 years, an astounding record of longevity. & so different generations have different connections to him & you're seeing that. For us Gen Xers, it's All in the Family, for millennials, it's the movies they grew up with, for Gen Z, it's his Democratic activism.

B. infant mortality has declined very fast and longevity has risen very fast.
Again, there's nothing you can do about either of those things and, I hope, nothing you would want to.

So, bowhead whales, which can live over 200 years, may not be so special after all. "Extreme longevity may be the rule not the exception in Balaenid whales", big if true 🧪 🐋 #PetosParadox

Longevity isn’t built through shortcuts or fast narratives. Bio Protocol creates structure for sustainable participation, while staking encourages patience and commitment. As DY-FST moves closer to launch, the focus feels less on speculation and more on building something that lasts.
