Jeffries is a republican. And an insurrectionist defender; he protected maggot Johnson from being removed as speaker instead of using the opportunity to become speaker.

He should have been fired immediately at that point.

I think it's an example of an offense that sort of "broke the NBA" and now that everybody does the same thing, it has less impact. Copycat league stuff. Similar to how everybody is playing more physical/pressure D after OKC/Pacers model this season.

What is the modern equivalent?
Internet searches? Random folder extraction? Automatic writing?

It's commonly held that anything you put online is there forever, but that isn't by nature - no other medium lasts such a short time while requiring so much energy to read and write. These data centers are ALSO producing an ever-growing churn of e-waste even just to maintain the status quo

Not an NES guy, so no skin off my back really, but it bothers me they did this as an Ultimate 2 instead of a Pro 3 with the layout that makes WAY more sense for… playing NES??

Why does Scott Bessent always look like he’s already being played by someone else as an SNL character?

Only an enemy of the US would do something like this.
This is the most astonishing graph of what the Trump regime has done to US science. They have destroyed the federal science workforce across the board. The negative impacts on Americans will be felt for generations, and the US might never be the same again.

2 reasons both threatened by tRumPH to be manipulated by Orange bully
1.“martial law” is a power that allows the military to take over the role of civilian government in an emergency
2.Insurrection Act The vague and rarely used law gives the president broad power to deploy the military domestically

An anecdote I think about when AI evangelists start begging people to adopt it was how when Chrome was being developed, it was released for internal only use at Google's HQ.

At one point, the devs pulled access to fix a couple bugs and everyone flipped out demanding they restore access to it.
I was present for the birth of the web, the explosion of personal sites, and the blogging revolution, and you know what we never had to do? Beg people to use our shit.

We do not have our lives saved until an equitable world is created as a result of the contradictions that drive violence against us, against our marginalized neighbors, against our foreign friends, because we are all BEING MURDERED BY THE SAME PROFITEERS

Recently finished this novel written in epistolary format. As a person who lost a child, I felt an affinity with the main character. She describes grief in such a spot on manner. I really felt that she expressed the way it felt so accurately. How it can change your relationships with others #booksky
