I love this advice! I try to pick a couple a year to subscribe to. (And some contests give you a subscription with your entry fee, and that feels like a win-win if you can swing it now and again.)
Make going to the mailbox exciting in 2025! Subscribe to a literary magazine or two or three! Be a good literary citizen by supporting the journals you read and submit to!
