Shameful — yet not shocking — that the IOC banned Vladyslav Heraskevych from wearing a helmet portraying Ukrainian athletes whose lives were claimed by russia.

Why is telling the stories of athletes who will never compete in the Olympics labelled "political"?

Full support for Vladyslav.

I haven't watch much Olympics yet, but in nearly event I've seen, there's been at least one competitor who missed events 4 years ago because they tested positive for COVID. Imagine working so hard to qualify for the Olympics, and that happens. It would be foolish for them *not* to mask.

Ukrainian skeleton racer Vladyslav Heraskevych wears a helmet honoring over 650 Ukrainian athletes and coaches killed in russia’s invasion.

The IOC banned it as "political," but Ukraine’s Olympic Committee argues it’s a tribute, not a statement.
