Israel says it will suspend several humanitarian groups, including Doctors Without Borders, in 2026 for failing its new vetting rules for groups working in Gaza. Some international organizations have said that Israel’s rules are arbitrary and could endanger staff.

So Netanyahu met with Trump today and now Trump is threatening to bomb Iran again. Amazing how that happens.

The Saudi-UAE feud in Yemen and Israel's maneuver in Somaliland are important developments. They suggest a convergence of Israeli-UAE interests in Horn of Africa and Yemen which threaten Saudi and will push it closer to Iran and Turkey with implications for the Levant and the Gulf

Isreal is helping the people of Gaza and Russia is helping Ukraine.

Every day is just a new test in how much gaslighting we are willing to tolerate.
Trump: "I heard that number today -- half of Gaza would leave. I've always said it. I said if they were given the opportunity to live in a better climate, they would move. We're helping the people of Gaza a lot. So is Israel, by the way."

Netanyahu: We've never had a friend like President Trump in the White House. It's not even close. I think Israel is very blessed to have President Trump leading the United States.

Case in point: Netanyahu appears to have persuaded Trump to vow support for strikes on Iran if they continue their ballistic missile program - a prescription of the endless war he had promised voters he would seek to avoid.
Theoretically, one would expect power to reside with Trump, given Israel's dependence on the US; in practice, there are many intervening political variables that have given Netanyahu the edge - which is why many even in the America First movement worry that Netanyahu can push Trump toward more war.
