ME: "LOL no..." <screenshot> <crop> <save>
I just laughed until I cried.

Happy as a clam? A clam? You mean those little things with no brain that just chill on the bottom of the ocean all day in their own little private shells and nevermind I get it now

I've worked in biglaw for almost three decades, including several AMLAW top 10 firms, and it's a very competitive market. If they want to maintain their client base, Paul Weiss' management had better consider some immediate changes in leadership.
If a law firm won't risk everything to defend itself, what makes you think it will risk anything to defend you?

My advice: Find a law firm that will not back down and will never bend a knee.

Jeff Bezos never wanted this cartoon to become public.

He killed it, and as a result, pulitzer prize editorial cartoonist Ann Telnaes quit.

Make sure everyone sees this cartoon.

Interviewer: “What are your career goals?”

Me: “I really want to work in the pubic sector.”

Interviewer: “I think you mean the *public* sector.”

Me: “I know what I mean.”

With a fully remote team of just 20 employees, Bluesky has surpassed 20 million users in its first year since opening to the public and is stealing thunder from rivals hundreds of times its size.

At a time when conventional wisdom among bosses is that workers must be in-person to be productive.

To whoever needs to hear this: anyone who saw you were upset about the election results and asked "why?" absolutely did give you good reason to question whether you can ever trust them again.

On 9/11, I was working in the city, and I spoke to people at the WTC every day. I walked out of the subway that morning and looking straight down 5th Ave, you could see the burning towers. I walked back to Queens with thousands of my neighbors, while fighter jets flew cover.
