its very clear the goal of the democrats is to give trump space to destroy everything with the hopes they can swoop in during the midterms and reap the rewards of the backlash. it worked in 2008, 18, and 20. problem is it requires allowing gop to kill a lot of people (iraq war, katrina, covid)
