I had a popular account with a valuable audience and my Twitter payout was $80 a month-ish, to the point where I disabled monetization instead of uploading my ID. Payouts are only material if you live in a developing country, so “guy in Nigeria posting right-wing Amerislop” has taken over the site.
Twitter pays people based on engagement (views, retweets, comments, etc). It appears that many MAGA accounts are based abroad and they use AI technology to generate low-effort rage bait.
My guess is that this will get worse as AI tech improves. For instance, fake videos of minorities doing crime.

Just so it's clear. It's not allowing AI because it's trying to create a clean dataset for training AI. It's not because any of the involved parties actually care about human created art.

forgot to mention. I did resolder the power jack and now it doesn't cut power if I sneeze at it.
Also fixed up a PSone I acquired with a broken disc drive. Cleaned and repaired it. Looks close to New now. Only issue is power input only works at a specific angle. I think it needs to be resoldered or replaced.

Honestly now that I've had time to digest the Nascar Finale. I'm just glad this format is gone. It's just gutwrenching how hamlin dominated the race, did everything right, won the most races in the season (in a format that "values winning") but oops caution, overtime and hail mary move larson wins.

a few things later, NES is now proper working. Had to clean the MB connectors with an eraser and picked up a new 72 pin. The zapper I got works like new. and like all light gun stuff, still pretty fun.

Honestly thinking about it. Being labeled a liberal by family members is crazy because a lot of my positions really haven't changed. It's just the right has moved so far to the right that a moderate conservative is just far to left to them.
