This is a good exploration, but I’d like to see more diversity for these articles. I’m by no means influential in the games industry, but I have gotten harassed in games not only for being a woman, but also specifically for being a Black woman.

I can't find it anymore but years ago I was looking at a forum about anime subs vs dubs and a pro-dub person dropped a composite screenshot of every time the subs for a show used "It can't be helped" and the file was like 10 MB under max compression

People need to stop dismissing racism in Japan as generalized xenophobia. Whiteness is reified here. White people don't experience the same discrimination in housing and police stops, e.g., as Chinese, Korean, and non-light-skinned residents do.
