You could just pay 5 PhDs $4000 a month and you wouldn't even have to worry about them hallucinating (except on weekends)...

An absolutely horror thought mid-run… someone somewhere is probably pitching the idea of mediation practices between “AI” and humans in the workplace.

📍Sudan | Our mobile surgical team at the Atbara Teaching Hospital is seeing a surge in patients with conflict-related injuries—some traveling 10 days to reach care. We don’t know how many died along the way.

Medical facilities and access to healthcare must be protected 👇🏽

Googles response basically being “it’s not making things up, it’s just incapable of telling facts from made up bullshit” would have destroyed a product in the days before the economy was propped up by a thin framework of scams lashed together with investment capital

With everything happening, weird to feel hopeful. Reforms and trust building is the name of the game now.

For anyone who has followed Lebanese politics, We will hopefully look back at these past few days and President & PM selection as ushering a new era for Lebanon. Lots of challenges ahead for these two, but for once in a long time you have two very competent and thoughtful leaders at the realm.

Lebanese army chief Joseph Aoun elected as president, ending a 2-year vacancy, with 99 of the 128 MPs’ votes

Aoun pledged that weapons will solely be in the hands of the state, after presidents for years called for an ambiguous coexistence w/Hezbollah’s military apparatus

2 years and 2 month later - Lebanon finally elected a president. Good first speech, the challenge will be in implementation of the necessary governance, judicial, and economic reforms.

Lebanese man Suheil al-Hamoui released from Assad’s prisons is welcomed home in Chekka after 33 years.

This means he was forcibly disappeared on the last year of the Lebanese civil war.

33 is how old I am.

One of the skills you develop after reading thousands on thousands of diplomatic documents is realizing when someone is delicately conveying an intense dislike of someone. In this case I do not think you actually need that skill.
