This is the key point here. There's just no real incentive from an ownership standpoint to win, outside of them just wanting to inherently. When Baseball teams are just naturally profitable, ownership groups are just going to act more like Private Equity firms.
I don’t know how you fix a sport where almost everyone is turning a massive profit regardless of the win/loss record
