I’m NOT saying this to be funny but I follow the W/HO and every time they say they condemn something it takes my brain a second to translate it and I’m like “okay, who then?” and then I feel silly that it happened AGAIN.

As soon as the Portland Frog became a meme, Jewish social media blew up with jokes about the 2nd Passover plague - tzefarde'a (frogs) - and the Rabbinical commentary around it. I knew I had to make a calligraphy piece encompassing all of it. (more in alt.)

I’ve been very ill lately. I’ve been of delicate health most of my life but I think I’ve hit that age where I’m just decimated by the smallest bug. My hair is falling out, my nails are warped and breaking. I want to get out of the house but most days I can barely get out of bed.

I was listening to an old Casey Kasem American Top 40 (I find this soothing these days) from 1985 where he told the story of Wendy Carlos, who scored The Shining and Tron, and her journey to becoming trans. Casey got all the pronouns right and it was presented as a slice of life, feel good story
Cool tip: it actually takes MORE effort to deliberately misgender someone AND it marks you as a total asshole! Pretty cool!
