It's not likely, they actually just directly said out loud that the games were meant to promote the film. Just totally baffling.
How baffling is it that Remake and F likely exist because they wanted to make this movie, and yet both of those games are phenomenal while this will surely be trashy popcorn mediocrity at best

Like the study itself cites psychological reactance and moderating negative effects. You're editorializing a fairly clear point. Spoiling people is still rude and it's still upsetting, it just doesn't tend to affect the evaluation of the end quality.

There has been a noticeable reticence in left and liberal circles to voice full-throated support for pornography, even as it's become increasingly clear what the open end goals of the censorship movement are
In a lot of ways other leftists chose this path folks. They shrugged and didn’t care when Patreon banned a ton of hypnosis and TF creators, or when YouTube started their ASMR crackdown. Now it’s coming for queer porn creators, more and more. Who will stand up?
