I hate the term "media literacy" because it sounds pretentious and faux-academic. But it *is* very strange to see takes on a piece of fiction where the overwhelming vibe is that this is either the first time people are engaging with the genre at play, or they just don't like that genre.

As somebody who has major anxiety about my parents getting old and passing away. Fuck that "Al mom" video straight to hell.

Even in the age of digital art, there is something so magical about being able to see individual pen and brush strokes. Something about being able to trace the human hands that made something, glimpse their struggle. This didn't just spring fully formed out of nothing, it was wrought into being.
