When I originally made this piece I was playing around with 3D models in Clip Studio paint, trying different lighting and poses and trying to set up a background, and accidentally clipped the models hands and lower body through the floor. I thought, “Wow, that looks interesting,” and drew this, adding in extra visual ideas based on vibes.

There were a few different “fashion” designs that I did and I really love some of them, they’re fun. Obviously the line work needs help, but the concept fucking rocks, imo. I wanna remake this someday.

Good morning!

Last night I was finally caught up with moving-into-house stuff and I spent a couple hours watching anime. Chilling, reclining in a comfy chair with a blanket on, drinking peppermint tea. The first time I really got to enjoy just existing in my house. Felt nice. ☺️

She smirks and watches the process. Still really love this piece — Danse is a fun character to draw, and I feel like this does a great job of encapsulating the vibe of her first phase as a boss character: elegant skeleton-summoning blood queen. It's really cool that she actually ended up becoming a character in a game, too (Drop Pockets)! Anyway, I love evil women. I love evil blood women. I don't know why. They're just good.

Spent 5 hours cleaning the basement at my new house (vacuuming all the cobwebs out of the floor joists, sweeping the floors, wiping down and reorganizing everything).

I bought a house awhile ago! I'd been putting money away since high school for a down payment and the house was cheap -- but it needed lots of work. Yesterday, after 4 years and replacing everything but the roof and frame, I finally moved in! Hell yeah, brother! ☺️

Calculated today that if I live to be 100, I got about 50k meals left to eat before I'm off to Valhalla. Or, maybe it'll be 1! Won't know what the last meal will actually be until it's too late -- that's why I wanna eat tasty (mostly healthy) stuff whenever I can.
