In May 2025 Deputy Premier Jarrod Bleijie used his planning minister powers to refuse the Moonlight Range Wind Farm. It's now been revealed the community concern aspect of his decision was based on fabricated submissions. At best it's ministerial incompetence. At worst it's one for the CCC. #qldpol

Why is Nauru's president being snuck into Parliament House for secret meetings that we only hear about in a tweet after it has been exposed?

If this deal is so defensible, why won't Labor tell Australians what they're discussing behind closed doors?
I had a productive meeting with Nauru’s President Adeang today in Canberra - the relationship between our countries is critical on a range of issues.

The govt is spending billions to keep 100 asylum seekers on Nauru, a nation of 12 000 people the size of Tullamarine airport. Reports implicating the Finks bikie gang in those deals are deeply concerning. Public servants have risked their livelihoods to speak out.

I don't think people realize how much a trillion dollars is.

Let's say you get paid a million dollars per day. That's a lot, right?

If you spend none of it and pay no taxes, you'll have a trillion dollars in approximately two thousand seven hundred (2700) YEARS.

No one should have that much.
