I don't 'refuse to use' AI, I just don't use AI; in the same way that I don't shoplift, or plagiarise other people's books - it requires no effort of will, it's just not something I would think of doing

Though all the "we're enforcing the supreme court ruling and banning trans people from stuff" announcements from companies and orgs are depressing af, there's a lot of orgs simply ignoring the ruling - they just aren't posting it online because they don't want to be harassed or forced to comply.

People have interpreted this as a call for a boycott, when I actually want a wealth tax so aggressive it'd make Lenin say, "steady on, lad" if Lenin talked like Wallace from Wallace and Gromit.
A lot of people want to separate the art from the artist, but I would settle for separating the artist from her money.

Fun fact: the C in CPU actually stands for Central, as in Central Processing Unit. There's also the GPU, the MPU and the PPU. Those are the Greenwich Processing Unit, Mountain Processing Unit and Pacific Processing Unit.
the “C” in “CPU” stands for the C Programming Language. CPUs are called that because they are a hardware implementation of the C Abstract Machine as specified by ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 22/WG 14.
