The right’s “cancel culture” panic was always a convenient grift. But let’s be real: plenty of elites on the left also acted like speech was more threatened by annoying undergrads than by powerful elites. And truth be told, Obama’s not off the hook here either.

This is already happening. But the truth is, Black people never had allies. We have people that will sometimes strategically work with us to get what they want and then tell us to "Fuck off" once they get what they want.
What sucks is that some of our white allies will start turning against minorities to protect their livelihood...only a matter of time...
