This was brought up on a @pankraru.bsky.social stream. Starting and being bad at art is the hardest step, full stop. Knowing what you want to draw but struggling with stick figures is daunting and discouraging. But you cant skip it.
You can make art.
The biggest step isn't getting good at art, it's being willing to make art that doesn't match the idea of "good art" in your head.
Making a lot of imperfect art is an essential step toward making perfect art; a counterproductive goal you shouldn't have anyway.
Just make art.

-I weeded through my podcast app and found new-old stuff to listen to!
-today is the day I'm scheduled to hide away from people and just do computer work, and I am STOKED. People were a lot yesterday; this is a nice break
