if I've one wish for 2026 its for people to stop sucking their teeth at prices for short run and one off art, models, etc. the folks who make stuff for their living have the same rising costs as everyone and spending £££ on factory-produced stuff costing pennies but not on artists really ain't fair

The real “Dolores”? I was recently commissioned to create a pencil sketch of Aquilops - a dinosaur which I’d never really paid proper attention to. In the l course of my research I became a bit obsessed and felt compelled to also create this more detailed illustration as a personal project.

In a frankly ludicrous triumph of hope and optimism over common sense and experience, I have just sent an unsolicited copy of one my books to someone whom I would *really* like to see it.

If the entirety of Bluesky could please cross their fingers and toes, it would be appreciated.

If any potential vendors are on the fence, take it from me: you want to be a part of this. I had a great time at DinoCon25 - professionally and personally. Above all, artists, makers, creators, writers, sculptors, have never been more needed than they are now. Let’s showcase that human creativity.
Applications for #DinoConUK 2026 vendor stalls are off to a very impressive, if not slightly scary, start. Rest assured that our Birmingham 2026 vendor hall is going to be very exciting, and also busy. We're still accepting applications until March 2026: www.dinocon.co.uk See you July 25th-26th!

For a small country, Wales has a surprising number of very, very cool dinosaurs.

Pendraig milnerae (Pendraig = “chief dragon” in Welsh) was discovered in 1952, not far from where I live, but only named in 2021 after being re-discovered in storage by Angela Milner and Susannah Maidment.

If anyone needs me, I’ll be over here, dismissing positive feedback from the people who matter and obsessing over that one negative comment from a total stranger.

I may be some time.

Ths is my fav dragon artist. The books are beautifully printed on a shiny thicker paper, and postcards are printed on nice thick cardboard. They are all beautiful!
