The coordinated nature of this—none are facing voters in 2026—means that either Schumer approved it or failed in his job as Senate Majority Leader to stop it.

Dems voting "no" get zero credit until they demand a change in leadership. Schumer out as Leader, Durbin out as Whip.
so currently defectors are:

Kaine (2030)
Shaheen (Retiring)
Hasan (2028)
Fetterman (2028)
Durbin (Retiring)
CCM (2028)
Rosen (2030)

Feeling this tonight.
Ok I'm gonna step away from here for the rest of the night because I'm doing a live reenactment of this which isn't healthy given my level of power in our political world

“woke” is when you acknowledge that black people have contributed to the united states
Two panels commemorating the contribution of Black American soldiers towards the liberation of the Netherlands in World War Two have been quietly removed from a cemetery in Limburg. It follows a complaint by right-wing think tank The Heritage Foundation to the American Battle Monuments Commission.

LAPD knows who the journalists are. That’s why they’re shooting them! How about cops just stop shooting journalists (and everyone else, too, for that matter)?
The problem is not press unable to identify themselves properly. The problem is LAPD shooting us with kinetic munitions and interfering with our work. Ysabel Jurado and Eunisses Hernandez would have us meet LAPD on LAPD’s terms when LAPD is the one breaking the law and shooting people.
Councilmember Ysabel Jurado has introduced a motion to protect journalists covering protests. The motion: LAPD will create a public campaign on how to obtain LAPD-issued press passes along w/ signing MoUs between press groups and the city to create an agreement on conduct at protests.

This, 💯
Schumer had a chance to repudiate the gutter racism and Islamophobia of Cuomo's campaign and he just fucking didn't. And that is disqualifying. He should be ashamed and we the voters should make sure he feels that shame.
Reporter: Today is election day in New York City. Did you vote for Mamdani or Cuomo?

Schumer: Look, I voted. And I look forward to working with the next mayor to help New York City.

Grateful for museums that refuse to whitewash slavery, and that continue to highlight the stories of all Americans - including those whose historical experiences are under attack by revisionist forces.
The Mississippi Museum of Art now owns the only two known portraits of enslaved Mississippians that were painted before the Civil War.

"Portrait of Frederick" joins "Portrait of Delia," both hanging in the same museum together for the first time in history.
