Dark Winds / ZeroZeroZero / Manhunt: Unabomber / Hell on Wheels / and more!
Cryptid enthusiast.
I am breaking my year-long social media hiatus to remind you that DARK WINDS returns for season 3 TOMORROW! It’s good! Zahn is incredible! Alan Sepinwall thinks you should watch it too!
Zahn McClarnon continues to give one of TV's best lead performances in AMC's great period mystery Dark Winds, and the expanded s3 allows room for an early contender for Episode of the Year. My review: www.rollingstone.com/tv-movies/tv...
'Dark Winds' Season 3 May Deliver the Year's Best Episode of TV
Navajo reservation-set series digs deeper as its hero cop Joe Leaphorn, played by an outstanding Zahn McClarnon, grapples with an emotional crisis.

I have become fascinated with a plumbing subreddit where plumbers post pictures of their work and other plumbers comment to tell them what a great job they did. Always delightful.

The thing I’m always struck by is how shitty of a society these guys really want. No art, no culture, no books or games or entertainment. No imports, no exports, no economy at all. Just war boys in red hats shootin’ guns and rolling coal while the country implodes.

I would suggest these agents perhaps choose a different business then.

Hold on, talent agents have been collecting commission on residuals for years? Decades? Absolutely fuck that, good on SAG for wresting that away.

The formula for running a successful video game or movie empire is actually really simple and time-tested. It's to just hire talented people to produce a bunch of different titles across a variety of budgets and genres, and some will flop but some will randomly become franchise-spawning hits.

A Texas high school has told a student he can't play the male lead in "Oklahoma!" because he's transgender, citing a new school policy requiring all roles in student productions to be cast based on the gender assigned at birth.

Instead of negotiating in good faith, it seems studios, and their anti-union allies are using scare tactics and outright lies to try to trick SAG-AFTRA members into pressing their leaders to take a bad deal.

Don’t confuse their fiction with facts:🧵

At some point the unions are going to have to do something about the “it’s not another season, it’s a SPINOFF!” thing that’s so pervasive right now.
Now in s2, Bosch: Legacy remains among the least spinoff-y of spinoffs ever made. Which is a good thing if you're a fan of one of the champions of Dad TV. My review:
‘Bosch: Legacy’ Is Still Rock Solid Dad TV
Titus Welliver returns as the titular private eye in Season Two of this spinoff series adapted from Michael Connelly’s novels, streaming on Freevee.
