IMO, Donald Trump is a gutter racist, a misogynist, a crass fascist buffoon, an immoral monster, and a pedophile.
Anyone who doesn't condemn him condones him, either tacitly or expressly. Fuck him.

Donald Trump’s name appears in the Epstein files more than a million times, according to Rep Jamie Raskin (D-Md.), who reviewed the Justice Department’s unredacted version of the files.

US Rep. Balint after reviewing unredacted Epstein files:

"They are a bunch of sick fucks. So many people knew." She confirmed Trump lied about kicking Epstein from Mar-a-Lago. Other files show the relationship continued for years.

The calculus that low-information voters used was something like:

Trump will be worse than Harris, but he's white and male, so give him some leeway.

Now that they're hurting, they realize what fuck-ups they were and want to be saved by liberals, again.

I keep reading how Republicans requiring voters to show passports will disenfranchise voters. But have Republicans stopped to realize that Democrats are more likely to have passports than Republicans?

When Pam Bondi was Florida's Attorney General, and was busy ignoring Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, much like now, she took a $25,000 bribe from Donald Trump to drop her investigation into consumer fraud at Trump University.

Donald knew she'd be a corrupt US AG and do as she was told.

So two foreign nationals discussed Jared Kushner, a guy who couldn't get security clearance but was able to get $2 billion from Saudi Arabia? And the content of the report is so sensitive that it can't be made public?

Seems like Jared's dad may not wind up being the only felon in the family.
Breaking WSJ:

The highly classified whistleblower complaint against Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard is related to a conversation intercepted last spring in which two foreign nationals discussed Jared Kushner, according to U.S. officials familiar with the matter.

Regulations are what keeps ordinary Americans healthy and, often, alive.

It took spoiled meat and rodent droppings out of our food. It took harmful lead out of our gasoline and paint. It took poison out of our water.

Deregulation only achieves one goal: making rich corporations richer.

Not quoting because they have enough dunks on them but this strawman has taken root among some people, so: no, actually, that particular position is not predominant.

This framing conflates three distinct "anti-AI" views that sometimes overlap: financial bubble, overhyped, and societal harm.

The primary problem with "why can't we talk seriously about AI" is that "AI" gets to mean so many things.

I've complained for YEARS that the problem is LLMs and Machine Learning are two VERY different things, with very different needs. Calling them both "AI" only makes discussion harder.
