You know, if Elon Musk really wanted to punch Trump in the gut, he should fully fund Kilmar Abrego Garcia’s case to come home and then subsequently sue the federal government for wrongful detainment and trafficking. That would blow Trump World up completely. Shame if he didn’t take that opportunity.

The current President is taking bribes from anyone who’ll offer them but I’m so glad Alex Thompson and Jake Tapper are not letting that distract them from the fact that the former President who just got diagnosed with cancer is also old.

but HUntEr BiDEn’s LaPTop was their lane. I’ve never seen so many people give up ACTUAL POWER in exchange for faux proximity to flippant, lower case “p” power so willingly.
Mike Johnson: "Look, I've been a little busy on reconciliation, so I'm not following all the twists and turns of the Qatar jet. My understanding is it's not a personal gift to the president ... other nations give us gifts all the time ... it's not my lane."

Sounds like a tyrannical impeachable offense to me. Instead of downplaying impeachment, maybe use it as a tool to signal to the American people that this is an unprecedented level of corruption. Otherwise, those of us with 2 jobs and no time are just seeing this as another normal day w/ Trump.
Accepting a private jumbo-jet from a foreign nation is a clear violation of our Constitution, which plainly prohibits U.S. officials from accepting gifts from foreign governments.

You just know that in his stereotypical Smoot-Hawley 1930s brain: Dolls are for girls because pretty dresses…and pencils are for boys because boys are smart and go to school.

Tell me I’m wrong.

I fully expect DJT to say and do outrageous things like posting a picture of himself as Sith He-Man, putting himself forward as Pope, playing whackamole with tariffs.
The thing I truly cannot deal with is the media, commentators etc who don't point out that these things are objectively INSANE.

The latest Fed survey shows how companies are responding to higher tariffs, and the top response is that companies are passing cost increases through to consumers.

In last place: "Relocating production or services to the U.S.”

I wonder if Elise Stefanik understands how necessary DEI was now that a straight white man just failed up into her dream job.

I guess we’ll never know…

We’re not acting like it’s an emergency because there’s little we can do politically. There’s little we can do politically because voters don’t feel like it’s an emergency yet. Voters don’t feel like it’s an emergency yet because we’re not acting like it’s an emergency. Rinse & repeat until fascism.
Ended up writing about Dems and why they're resisting the grassroots "impeach Trump" campaign - they're not saying he doesn't deserve it, just that they won't do it.

Activists demand it, but the party’s electeds say they’ve learned it doesn’t work.

Stephen Lynch, aiming to be top Dem on the Oversight Cmte, blew up at a constituent who asked him to oppose the GOP.

"I get to decide that. I get to decide that. I get to decide that. I'm elected. I get to decide that. You wanna decide that? You need to run for Congress, okay? I get to decide that"
