One fact I didn't know until just now is that Michael Bloomberg's net worth increased from $55.5 billion in 2019 to $106 billion in 2025. Doubled.
Bloomberg has dropped $5 million against Zohran in these last days of the race, making him the single largest donor. Personally I wish he'd just settle for having successfully bought a 3rd term and do something else with his money www.nytimes.com/live/2025/10...

Judging political parties by how they treat trans people doesn’t make you a single issue voter.

It means you recognise the litmus test for how those seeking power treat one of the most vulnerable groups in society who are also currently the easiest to target. It’s a show of values and a gut check.

This little Gríma Wormtongue motherfucker should be running more press conferences. He is universally, loathed, and the American people need to understand who is puppeteering this nightmare. The more we see of him, the more the resistance grows.
Q: Would the administration consider putting troops on the ground in any capacity in Venezuela?

Have people who question why a school librarian would want to purchase a nature book about animal butts ever met a child?!

The current state of the White House is a Visual and visceral representation of what we’ve lost to tyranny, what will be lost and destroyed, and - most terrifyingly - the fact he’s just getting away with it and it continues. Both the building and what it represents going going gone.

We are already seeing the effects of slashing budgets and personnel when it comes to quality control, health and safety, and holding companies accountable.

Regulations work, y’all, when funding and staffing are at proper and effective levels.

If you ban Calvin and Hobbes you’re a straight up fascist son of a bitch and that’s that
How profoundly sad. The kids deprived of reading Calvin and Hobbes are the kids who need them the most. My brother put it best: "We know we’re fucked when they come for your cartoon stuffed tigers."

Let's go sit in the grass and crack open "The Days are Just Packed."

Are you paying attention to the words they are saying?

Lawmakers are telling you these bills like SB267 and SB412 intend to make it easier to prosecute educators/librarians over… BOOKS.
Revealing testimony from Jared Patterson about HB267, his librarian criminalization bill. The underlying assumption is that educators *need* to go to jail over books. There’s an absolute thirst to lock us up. #BookBans #BookSky
